Preparing for Work Skills Training

The Sisonke Partnership has delivered this high-impact training to nearly 400 students and over 100 staff at Ekurhuleni West College. The aim of the course is to give students the best possible chance of employment in a hugely competitive employment market.

Piloted in February 2014, the Sisonke team has rolled out this course in August 2014 and 2015, has established a LinkedIn group for our 'graduates' to track their progress, and is returning to EWC in February to train more students. This programme has required significant investment and foresight from EWC, under the leadership of principal and CEO Hellen Ntlatleng, and we are delighted that the students are so appreciative of the opportunity they've been given.

In October 2015, Sisonke piloted the course with Capricorn TVET College in Limpopo Province with 28 students and 15 staff, and the feedback from participants was very positive.
